The Barrow-Lite is a mobile greenhouse inspired by original Victorian garden structures, it is hand crafted by a small team of blacksmiths in England using traditional methods in small quantities. Similar in design to cold frames or cloches, the Barrow-Lite is easily maneuverable and can be adjusted to suit the needs of the gardener. The boards can be removed to act as a cloche, growing larger plants within it, with the seed tray providing extra storage for seedlings and other small items. The roof panels are fully hinged and adjustable and can be folded over completely to allow access from both sides. This is a highly attractive yet practical piece which would look fantastic in the smaller garden, but is also completely at home in a more formal space or walled garden. The frame can be painted in a number of colours, using a range of Little Greene heritage paints allowing you to customize your greenhouse to fit your garden.
The greenhouse is constructed using horticultural glass with cast iron wheels, and is easily mistaken for an original Victorian item, it will blend into its surrounding quickly and enhance any space dramatically. To give an idea of size, the frame is approximately 4 foot long.
