A large well hewn antique red sandstone trough; good clean rectangular form with no damage and the beautiful patina and weathering only achieved over hundreds of years. Originally this trough would have been used to water livestock in a west Cumbrian farm yard, now it will make a fantastic planter or water feature. A lead water spout or mask would be the ideal accompaniment if you wished to create a unique wall fountain.
