Casey Allum

Casey Allum, is a professional portrait artist and illustrator who grew up in the Langdale Valley, Cumbria. She specialises in animal and human portraiture using pencils, inks, pastels and coloured pencils, oils, acrylics and inks. “My graphite pencil portraits draw attention to the negative space and light surrounding the subject which is so often discarded; this space is important to help the subject breathe and ultimately draws the eye to the detail in the portrait rather than the overall sometimes complicated composition. I pay close attention to the finer details in my work, construction, form and texture, being able to perfectly describe a subject with a pencil line; that’s truly where my passion lies.” - Casey Allum.

Christine Cummings

Christine Cummings has been creating ceramic sculptures for over 10 years now, her unique style and love towards the natural world is captured by her beautifully hand crafted pieces. Using a mixture of crank bodied and stoneware clays she is able to bring her research and sketches to life, the finished pieces complimented by her own unique method of Raku and smoke firing.

Craig Fellows

Craig Fellows is an award-winning and successful textile designer, combining fine art talents with his love of fashion prints and textiles. Each piece is designed, made and hand-finished by Craig. Every piece in Craig’s collection is completely unique and can truly not be found on the high street. Craig graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Fashion and during his studies his work was regularly exhibited including Clothes Show Live and New Designers and Graduate Fashion Week; where his collection was shown in the Gala show for the Zandra Rhodes Textile Award. Gates, Posts and Railings

We hold in stock a large number of antique  gates and railings. We will typically have in the yard a number of 19th century wrought iron gates and railings, salvaged form country houses and estates around the country. These might include traditional reclaimed field gates, smaller wrought iron garden or pedestrian gates, or large and ornate cast or wrought iron driveways gates. Our onsite blacksmith, the talented John Law, is on hand to guide our customers on any restoration required, and can custom forge pintle or hinge brackets if required.  The antique wrought iron and cast iron gates we stock are generally of a far higher quality than their modern equivalents and will fit perfectly into any period restoration or traditional setting. From the plain clean lines of Georgian wrought iron strap work to heavier more ornate Victorian scrolls we are sure to have something in stock to meet your requirements.  Traditional estate fencing is always popular and we are able to provide new galvanised steel fencing and gates to custom requirements.
