Paul Booth Stonemason Paul is a highly trained banker mason who has spent the last 20 years working on many historic properties and buildings all over Britain and overseas.As well as carrying out stonework restoration, Paul also specialises in hand-carved fireplaces and one-off commissioned pieces. At his workshop/showroom at Yew Tree Barn, Low Newton, Cumbria Paul works in a traditional way, cutting and carving stone from all over Britain.
Using traditional materials such as lime, cob/mud, stone and sustainable timber we specialise in the sympathetic restoration, conversion, extension and repair of old/traditional buildings.
The Crown at High Newton
Our local pub in next door High Newton has now reopened and is a lovely traditional Lakeland inn serving good food, wines and ales. Well worth a visit, and The Grumpy Ol' Jazz group playing on the first Monday of the month are worth listening to!
